GETTING MY VEG ON - MINI LOCAL VEGETABLE HAUL
Hey all!
I popped out to do one thing and of course it led to doing something completely different. It's always a gripe of mine that my local supermarkets don't have enough of a variety of fruit and veg often leaving me uninspired or just bored of the same old same old. Yes I will happily buy all the food but my YOLO budget doesn't quite stretch to regular farmers visits.
So anyways I was deciding whether I would go to Tesco's, the Korean Supermarket or wherever else my stomach was trying to drag me when I looked across the road and was like OH YEAH why did I forget about my local Mediterranean mini supermarket. They always have an abundance of fresh produces including many varieties I don't see elsewhere. As soon as I went in there I was just stupidly happy walking along the aisle.
They obviously thought I was on the rob because I was carrying around my bits and bobs in my arms because carrying a basket never ends well...well it ends up full f.u.l.l FULLLLLLLLL!
Anyways a random older gentleman who I had a discussion about Okra with bought me a basket but I'm so proud I didn't loose all my sense. I got what I needed. Not to little and not to much.
I then popped to the greengrocers which for some reason I'm usually rushing pass in my quest to get somewhere. Oh boy but not today CAN YOU IMAGINE THE VEGETABLES STARTED FLIRTING WITH ME. NO SERIOUSLY....I'm having a bubble now. Watch the video and see why I fell in love with my local high street all over again.
Tesco's and co I love you but I'm making sure I mix it up, support small businesses and shop local a hell of a lot more especially now.
Anyhow I think my caption is longer then the vid and filled with he most grammar and spelling mistakes so let me stop whilst I'm ahead.
