Today we celebrate Lexi’s first birthday! Pigs bred for meat are typically slaughtered at just six months of age, but thanks to former culinary student Matthew Figueira, Lexi now gets to enjoy the first of many birthday “cakes” here with her friends. Side-note: caring for animals and singing in tune are not talents that overlap.
