Weight Loss Secrets That Helped Me Lose Almost 100 Pounds / Over 20 Tips!

This is a continuation / part 2 of my weight loss tips and tricks that helped me lose over 90 pounds. In the previous video, I mentioned 15 more basic weight loss tips and in this video and go a bit more in detail. Some of these are the less commonly known weight loss tips and tricks. I call them my weight loss secrets because these are things that I personally do and they helped me lose the weight. People have requested that I go more in detail about how I lost the weight, giving specifics, so that's what I tried to do in this video. I follow a plant based diet, high in whole plant foods. A nutritarian style diet, lots of veggies and beans/lentils. That's where I get most of my help losing weight. GREENS & BEANS BABY! But, these are a few other tricks I use as well.

I forgot to talk about the last two "bonus tip", but it's pretty simple. Keep a weight loss journal. I have mine from when I first started. I wrote my starting weight, my short term goal weight, and my long term goal weight. I then weighed in every two weeks and wrote my weight down. I then set my next goal weight, and my next weigh in day. I would also write down other stuff in there as well.

Celebrate and treat yourself when you reach your goals. Whether it be losing 10 pounds, going down a clothing size, etc. It's fun to go and buy new clothes, but I know that can get pricey and wasteful when you are going down sizes often. I would find bargains, along with shopping at thrift stores. Actually, the purple striped shirt I'm wearing in this video is from the thrift store. It's a size small :)

I went from a XX-Large top (38 DD). Which was often tight.
A size 16/18 jeans/pants/dresses.

and now, I'm a medium top (can fit in smalls). 36 C bra.
size 4/6 jeans/ pants/ dresses.

From 225 to 132.

Took me about a year to lose 75-80 pounds. I would stay around the same weight after losing it, but would fluctuate 10-15 pounds. I got up to 160 last winter and when I noticed, I knew I was going to make a change, buckle down, and lose the extra weight. I started this change in the end of March/beginning of April. It took me less than four months to reach my goal weight of 137. I set that goal because it's a healthy weight for me and it's my favorite number. But, I kept going and now I'm down to 132.

Now I'm working on maintaining.
