Wild horses are highly intelligent, emotional and sensitive beings who value their familiesy and freedom above everything else. As “animals of prey” in the wild, their flight or fight instinct takes over and becomes panic and terror when they’re trapped.

After capture, wild horses are separated from their families, “processed” and some are offered for adoption or sale at events like the one shown in this video.

Believe it or not, Bureau of Land Management staffers in this video are some of the “good ones” who do not purposely abuse horses and have the impossible job of trying to keep these terrified animals from panicking while moving them into trailers.
