With every brand claiming "anti-racism", “sustainability”, and “ethical labour” these days, I wanted to share the questions I ask to check whether a brand is really worth supporting and buying from. Timestamps & more info:

Sustainability and anti-racism are so heavily intertwined (it’s not news that the fashion industry thrives off of marginalized Black and Brown bodies), but how do we know if the brands we support are actually sustainable?

And with all the tea coming out on brands like reformation, pangaia etc, it feels like no brand can be trusted anymore. I hope this video can help us see through brands that greenwash or just post a black square, so we can support brands that deserve it. It’s up to us as consumers to vote with our dollars and demand better standards, and collectively we can make such an impact.
