We live in Nebraska in a little house on a hill surrounded by our garden filled with fruit trees, vegetables, native flowers, and a flock of laying hens. We love to travel to new destinations, go on long walks, swim in wild waters, and have picnics as often as possible.
You may have heard of our family when we received global attention for the unconventional birth of our daughter Uma. Elliot's sister was the egg donor and Matthew's mother, at 61 years old, was the gestational surrogate, giving birth to her first granddaughter. While our path has been anything but ordinary, it has been guided by only love. This is our village. This our family.
